What's so great about air fryers?
I know you’re all thinking it so let’s start here. It took me a while to get on the air fryer band wagon. Mostly because I didn’t want one more appliance taking up room on my counter or having to find storage for. BUT almost a year in and I can say without a doubt it is the number one most used appliance in my kitchen, bumping out the instant pot which previously held that spot.
First of all, everything just TASTES better coming out of the air fryer. You can’t beat the texture that it gives to frozen foods, think chicken nuggets and french fries. YUM! You would think you literally just fried those babies up.
Second, it gives you that deep fried texture without the crazy amount of oil (or mess!), making it a much healthier option.
Lastly, I have yet to find a leftover that the air fryer doesn’t bring back to life! Seriously, we have heated up leftover tacos, roasted veggies, quesadillas, pizza, fries, literally everything in it and it revives them all and makes them taste just as good as day one!

FAQ's
There are so many ways to serve baked sweet potatoes! If you’re in the mood for something a bit more sweet, top them with butter or ghee, cinnamon, and a little bit of honey or maple syrup.
For something a bit more savory try adding ghee, roasted garlic, and your favorite fresh herbs like thyme or parsley!
Yes! Baked sweet potatoes are so easy to reheat. To reheat in the air fryer simply turn the temp down to 350F and reheat for 10-15 minutes until heated all the way through.
You can also reheat in the oven at 350F or in the microwave!
You can use any kind of sweet potato for this recipe! However, my favorite kind of sweet potatoes EVER and the one that I use for nearly everything sweet potato related are Japanese Sweet Potatoes.
They are a little bit sweeter than traditional sweet potatoes here in the US, but they also have a religious delicious nutty flavor that is often compared to a roasted chestnut. If you haven’t tried them, I highly recommend!
Whichever potatoes you use just be sure that they are fairly uniform in shape and thickness (though not too thick!) so they cook evenly.
I think this all depends on what you’re going for! When shopping for an air fryer, I was looking for one that would be aesthetically pleasing sitting on my counter. We went with this Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven, and I absolutely love it! But I also know plenty of people who swear by the Ninja Foodi!
