    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This Pineapple Mojito Mocktail is paleo and Whole30 compatible and makes the perfect healthy and refreshing summertime drink. It is naturally sweetened with fresh and delicious ingredients!

    Ingredients needed for this recipe

    • Pineapple Juice - Pineapple juice should be the only ingredient for Whole30.
    • Limes
    • Mint Leaves
    • Sparkling Water - LaCroix Lime is one of my favorites for this recipe!
    • Pure Maple Syrup - Omit for Whole30

How to make a mojito mocktail

    1. Place the mint leaves and lime juice in a glass or cocktail shaker and gently muddle using the end of a wooden spoon.
    2. Add the pineapple juice and maple syrup (if using) and gently mix to combine.
    3. Fill two glasses with ice, then evenly pour the pineapple juice mixture over the top. (I prefer to pour through a strainer to remove the mint leaves.)
    4. Top with sparkling water and garnish with additional mint, lime, and pineapple if desired.

    What is a mojito?

Traditionally a mojito is a Cuban cocktail made up of white rum, sugar, soda water, lime juice, and mint.

    What is a mocktail?

A mocktail is simply a cocktail without the alcohol! This recipe is also paleo compatible and naturally sweetened, and can be made Whole30 compatible as well.

    Mojito FAQ's

Can I use a sweetener other than maple syrup?

Yes! You can use liquid stevia or a honey simple syrup. Simply combine equal parts honey and water in a sauce pan over medium low heat and stir until well combined.

Be sure to omit ALL sweetener for Whole30.

Can I use something other than sparkling water?

Absolutely! I love to use Lime La Croix for this recipe but regular sparkling water, seltzer, or club soda works great as well. As always, be sure to check your ingredients!

How should I serve mojito mocktails?

For the double serving as written here, you can serve in two single glasses garnished with limes, mint, and pineapple wedges.

If serving for a crowd, add pineapple mixture to a pitcher with ice, top with sparkling water and gently stir with a large spoon.
