    • This smoked peach recipe has only three ingredients!  This recipe uses three simple ingredients to make a delicious and healthy year round dessert or side!
    • This delicious dish is naturally sweetened.  These traeger smoked peaches are brushed with olive oil and honey to help with the carmelization and add a touch more sweetness!
    • This healthy dessert is so versatile and can be served in many ways. Ingredient Notes

Peaches - Use peaches that are ripe but not too soft.

Olive Oil - I recommend a high quality olive oil for the best flavor!

Honey - This is a great natural sweetener that helps the edges of the peaches to caramelize during the smoke.

    How To Make This Recipe

    • Preheat the smoker to 250 degrees F.
    • Cut each peach in half and remove the pit.
    • In a small bowl combine the olive oil and honey and mix well.

    • Use a pastry brush to brush the honey mixture onto the cut side of the peach.
    • Place the cut peaches cut side up on the pellet grill for 45 minutes.  Flip the peaches (placing cut side down on the grill grates) for the remaining 15 minutes until the peaches are soft with grill marks on the bottom.

    How To Serve Smoked Peaches

There are so many delicious ways to serve these smoked and caramelized peaches. You can make it easy and serve the peach halves warm topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a little brown sugar and cinnamon or try one of these delicious variations:

    • Smoked Peaches and Cream - slice the smoked peaches and top with a bit of heavy whipping cream.  Finish them off with Paleo Shortbread Cookie crumbles.
    • Smoked Peach Cobbler - Slice the peaches and use the smoked peach slices in this Cast Iron Peach Cobbler. You can even smoke the cobbler on your pellet grill following the same directions as the oven!
    • Smoked peaches with spiced rum - This makes a fun dessert especially during the holidays!  In the last 10-15 minutes of cooking, place the peaches in a cast iron pan and drizzle with a small amount of spiced rum and maple syrup.  Remove and top with whipped cream!
    • Smoked peaches with balsamic glaze - Top the peaches with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and then drizzle with balsamic glaze and/or high quality olive oil for a sweet and savory treat!

These peaches don’t have to be just for dessert either! Serve them alongside your favorite protein like this Traeger Smoked Chicken Breast for a sweet dinner addition.

    Recipe FAQ’s

How long does it take to smoke peaches?

Peaches are done smoking after 30 minutes.  However, you can smoke them quicker (or for longer) if desired.  While they grill quicker at a higher temperature, the peaches will absorb less smoke flavor.  Where as you will find the peaches with more smoke flavor the longer they smoke at a lower temperature.

What is the best wood for smoking peaches?

Milder and sweeter wood pellets, like apple, cherry, and pecan pellets work great for this recipe!

What is the best smoker for these peaches?

I’m rather partial to Traeger Pellet Grills, however, these peaches can be made on any pellet smoker or even a traditional grill.  On a gas or charcoal grill, the time will have to be adjusted as the heat is higher so keep an eye on the grilled peaches to ensure they don’t burn!  Flip the peaches in the last five minutes to get grill marks on the cut side.
